“I am always with you my boy, you and your sister. It has been an honour and a privilege
to be part of your lives and I want you to know that I will always be there for you,” she
looked at me and I nodded. We stared at each other for a little while. I was lost in her
eyes. “I think you know what you have to do now Matthew?” she said after a little while.
“Yes, I think so,” I replied. “I have to decide if I want to go back to my body or not, and if
I choose not to then essentially that means to die, yes?”
“Yes my boy, that’s correct. I am afraid that you need to make the decision soon or it
will be made for you and it would be preferred that you choose,” she responded.
“What do you think I should do Gran?” I asked. After a brief pause she responded.
“Follow your heart and go there.” This was all she said. She started to shimmer. I
reached out to her but she was gone. I knew it was hard for her to be here, I didn’t know
why, I just knew it was hard for her. I turned to look at the scenery one last time before I
